Based on the tweet, if you are interested in getting the smartwatch, what you can do for now is register for updates through the link, as no specific UK release date has been mentioned yet. For the UK pricing of the "ZenWatch 2", it's hard to tell for certain just yet. However, the said wearable costs around $150 in the US Google Store a few months ago, so its UK price is probably somewhat similar to that.
Specswise, the device uses a Snapdragon 400 SoC and has a RAM of 512 MB. The internal memory, like most wearables, is 4 GB. Two variants of the "Asus ZenWatch 2" has been launched by the company, one 49mm model with 1.63 inch screen and 320 x 320 pixel resolution, and one 45mm model with 1.45 inch screen that has a 280 x 280 pixel resolution. Both these variants are water resistant, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, run the Android Wear OS, and available in the colors of Gunmetal, Silver, and Rose Gold. Furthermore, the 49 mm model is compatible with the standard 22 mm straps and the 45 mm model is compatible with the standard 18 mm straps. These two devices carry non removable Li Ion batteries, 400 mAh battery for the 49 mm model, and 300 mAh battery for the 45 mm unit.
