Don Romanelli, the man who ran the famous Warner Bros. studios and founded the consumer-products division in the company, has put up his Malibu home up for sale for a $24.95 million asking price.
This extraordinary residence comes equipped with a "Batcave," an underground place that can only be accessed through a private passageway. Referring to the "Batcave" as his own personal space, Romaelli told the Wall Street Journal:
"Batman was something that really helped build my division."
Curbed describes the place as, "Not exactly the place to hatch a crime-fighting strategy, but still very fun."
Indeed. Inside the 10,270 square-foot single-family house you can find several luxury amenities like a wine-cellar and bowling alley that even Batman would go gaga for.
The listing of the residence lies with Santiago Arana of The Agency. The records claim the home has five bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The house was designed by Steve Giannetti and the interiors were done up by Madeline Stuart.
The ranch-style property has hardwood and stone-tiled flooring, wood-beamed ceilings, large wood and glass doors and windows. There is a media room and a gym as well. Outside, the residence has ample greens, an infinity pool with an attached spa. The home also offers stunning ocean views, riding trails and grass pens.
The listing says, "With expansive ocean views on one side and scenic mountain views on the other, this exquisite home blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, making it a truly one-of-a-kind California coastal estate."
While you could lay your hands on this marvelous property for the lofty price tag, the real Wayne Mansion would cost you $32.1 million. Don't believe it? Take a look at the infographic by created by the folks at Movoto Realty, who put together specs of Wayne Mansion. They made an official listing too!
But don't worry if you can't afford the "Batcave" home or the Wayne Manor. You can still book a night in the Batman-themed hotel room at the Eden Motel in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The room is unbelievable with its entire "Batman insignia." Check it out here.
