For the anticipating fans of the "Motoroal Moto 360 2nd Gen" that was announced September of this year, here's one good news for you - the sports version of the said device will be arriving in your online stores in a few weeks' time.
The sporty variant of the "Moto 360 2nd Gen" will be made available in UK, France, and US really soon. Motorola has just recently announced that they will make the said device available in UK and France by December 18, and in the US a few weeks later.
For the US, the "Moto 360 2nd Gen Sport Edition" can be purchased through motorola.com and a few other online retailers starting the 7th of January. Best Buy stores and Moto shop in Chicago will start selling it on the 10th of January.
Pricing details only revealed the wearable's US cost, which is $299. For UK and France costing, no price tag has been mentioned yet. Nonetheless, we can just hope that the wearable does not get priced in UK and France way higher than US'. Furthermore, the said device will also be made available in many other countries including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, but their specific release dates are not yet confirmed. All that was said is that the rollout to other countries will happen within 2016.
Specswise, the "Moto 360 Sport" won't disappoint. It has an IP67 certification for its dust and water resistant body (1 meter and 30 minutes) and it runs the Android Wear OS. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as well. Sensors included in the watch are accelerometer, gyro, and heart rate. It is also Wireless Charging enabled.
So if you're a Motorola Moto 360 fan, mark your calendars! The dates to watch out for are December 18 for UK / France release; January 7 for US online availability; and January 10 for US release in Best Buy and Moto Shop.
