Stefan Richter, the runner-up of the fifth season of Bravo's cooking competition - "Top Chef," has reportedly listed his long-time home in Santa Monica, California, for $1.49 million.
The Los Angeles Times broke news of the listing noting that Tami Pardee and Heidi Bright of Pardee Properties are representing the house.
Listing records of the home state that the residence is a 6,753 square-feet home, double-level, single-family house located at 2434 23rd Street. Comprised of just two bedrooms and one and a half bathroom, the house offers spacious living areas - both inside and outside.
Interiors of the home feature hardwood flooring, drywall ceilings and French doors and windows. There is a separate dining area, roomy living area, a modern kitchen (of course!) and a large wooden patio.
Outside, the home has a Morocco-inspired outdoor living area that the listing calls "sensually furnished with banquette, exotic pillows, Moroccan lighting, water feature and 2 fire pits invite an entertaining & relaxing vibe all around." A "Finnish" sauna is also available on the property.

Richter is originally from Finland, but has lived long in the Santa Monica area. He owns many restaurants in Finland too.
Talking about how he comes up with his unique recipes and how he takes care of his restaurant business while shooting for shows, Richter said in an earlier interview with Splash Magazine:
"You have to play. It's like marriage. You gotta work on it. Seriously, I collaborate with Leo (Bongarra) who has been my Chef du Cuisine for seven years. He's been a friend of mine for nine years and I got him when he was untainted. He was very clean and sober and very virgin and there were no bad influences in him so I could train him to my standards and now he's adding a lot to my work. For example, I can't be in the kitchen right now because I'm doing this interview so he's taking care of everything and is supervising the 12 chefs we have in the kitchen. Anyway, he and I write the menus together and test a new dish by running a lunch special to see how it flies."
Richter's restaurants have happy hours from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
