Gavin Rossdale Accuses Gwen Stefani Of Using Their Divorce Drama To Improve 'The Voice''s Ratings

Recently, Gwen Stefani has been making rounds on live TV singing her break up song "Used to Love You". When she sang the song on "The Voice" last November 30, the show's ratings shot up along with her ex's temper. Gavin Rossdale has finally had enough and spoke out about how Stefani has been using their breakup for her personal gain.

"Gavin is so over Gwen's forced tears. He thinks she's totally milking the whole divorce drama when she's on stage and acting like she's so heartbroken and devastated. He just doesn't buy it," a source told Hollywood Life.

The same source added, "Gwen is on cloud nine with Blake and she's just trying to milk the divorce for all it's worth to make Gavin look like a jerk. They ended things a long time ago and Gavin thinks Gwen is in it for the ratings and of course, to get sympathy from others, including all of their famous friends."

However, another report contradicted such statement. According to Radar Online, the number of viewers tuning in to "The Voice" dropped since Stefani and her new boyfriend, fellow judge Blake Shelton, went public with their relationship.

Last week, Radar Online wrote, "The hit NBC show started the season off strong, winning the ratings war on Monday nights with the premiere episode pulling in 12.3 million viewers on September 21, 2015."

The viewership also remained strong the week after Stefani and Shelton were spotted together at a Halloween party. However, at the end of the month when news and rumors began to circulate about Stefani, Shelton, Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, viewers began to lose interest in "The Voice".

Stefani and Rossdale publicly announced their breakup in August but according to US Weekly, their marriage was already in trouble since February when "The Voice" panelist discovered the inappropriate messages that her then-husband and former nanny were exchanging.
