The former Florida mansion of Joey Fatone, the 'N Sync band member, was reportedly hit by three burglars dressed like ninjas Monday evening. However, the notorious trio was caught before they could do any damage.
The three men - Johnathan Rickadan Contreras, Frank William Bower Jr. and Andres Perez - were nabbed the evening they tried to break into the property. The thieves were reportedly dressed like ninjas and carried a backpack each of which had duct tape, handguns, wire cutters and zip ties, reports the New York Daily News.
While Conteras and Bower were caught red handed, Perez tried to run and hide in the neighboring bushes, but was sniffed out by an officer's K9 dog. There is a possibility that the trio has been involved in other burglary cases too.
"Our task force - in conjunction with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the Windermere Police Department and the Office of Statewide Prosecution - has identified links between the suspects arrested in Orange County and the crimes committed in Collier County and in the City of Naples," a spokesperson with the Collier County Sheriff's Office told WFTV.com.
The property that they were allegedly caught in once belonged to the famous singer. While Fatone sold the house in 2011 for $3.9 million, he opened doors of the house to MTV Cribs while he was still living in it.
At that time, the residence had an amazing room dedicated to "Superman" and an alleyway decorated with Fatone's impressive guitar collection. He also gave the channel a look into his daughter's room, which was stuffed with teddy bears and all-things-pink.

'N Sync came together at last year's Grammy awards where band-member Justin Timberlake was getting an award. The band's brilliant performance had the world asking just one question - will there be a reunion?
However, in an interview with HuffPost Live, Fatone said, "Never."
"You always say 'never say never' because that [Grammy performance] happened. That was never going to happen, and all of a sudden it did happen. So, at this moment in time, is anything going to happen? Absolutely, 100 percent, no."
More recently, Fatone caught headlines for dissing the famous boyband "Backstreet Boys" saying that they were touring because they needed the money. Nick Carter, who is a friend of Fatone's, wrote back on Twitter saying he didn't expect it from him but told E!Online that there are no hard feelings right now because "It was definitely tongue-in-cheek" and "that's who Joey is, and I respect it..."
