Justin Bartha, the "Hangover" star, has reportedly put up his bachelor pad in Hollywood Hills West for sale at $1.37 million.
The Los Angeles Times broke the news of the deal. The listing makes complete sense as Bartha recently got married to his fitness trainer fiancé Lia Smith. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Oahu, Hawaii and Lia was apparently pregnant at that time.
"[She] had her hand on her stomach most of the time," an eyewitness told Us Weekly. "She looked like she had a little bump."
While the ceremony was a cozy one, some celebrity friends like Jesse Eisenberg, Reese Witherspoon and her hubby Jim Toth, who also happens to be Bartha's agent, were invited.
Bartha and Lia recently welcomed a baby girl April 13. While this is the first child for both of them, Bartha has had some experience of playing a "stay-at-home" dad on NBC's "The New Normal."
In one of the episodes, Bartha played an enthusiastic and eager stay-at-home dad. Talking about the episode, Bartha said:
"We both [David and Bryan] have a fantasy about being stay-at-home dads, quitting our busy lives and taking care of our child."
"The fantasy turns into a bit of a nightmare," he adds. They both have their idea of what fun is. David also has some fun things up his sleeve, and you get to see how each guy tries to relate and communicate to Shania. They have their best intentions in mind but things don't turn out the way they planned."
Now that a reel-life character has become a real-life responsibility, the decision to sell comes as no surprise. The listing of the residence lies with Juliette Hohnen and Jackie Smith of Hilton and Hyland real estate.
The single-family residence exudes an exotic charm. Boasting of vintage Spanish architecture the home offers 1,416 square feet of living space. Interiors feature stone-tiled and hardwood flooring, wood-beamed ceilings and glass windows. Outside, the house has a swimming pool and a spa. A covered patio, a small garden and ample parking space are its other features.
