A new report about "Street Fighter 5" has surfaced on Thursday saying that the game's beta will run from Dec. 17 until Dec. 20. The news comes after a pre-order advertisement has been posted on the PlayStation Store website, a report from IGN said.
According to the report, the pre-order advertisement that was posted on the PlayStation Store confirmed the game's beta official release date. However, it was noted that game developer Capcom has yet to announce the official release date of the "Street Fighter 5" beta. It can be recalled that Capcom previously confirmed that "Street Fighter V" is one of the video games that will be showcased during the PlayStation Experience which will take place on Dec. 5 to Dec. 6.
"According to the Capcom-Unity blog, all fifteen characters, including the recently announced Dhalsim, will be playable. Six more characters are expected to release within the first year of Street Fighter V's launch and there is still one last all-new character to be revealed for Street Fighter V," the report said.
Recently, the game's beta in the PlayStation 4 has received an update, while the PC version of the game has also received a similar update which appears to be part of Capcom's preparation for the game's beta. The company's most anticipated game is slated to be released in February 2016. The game will be rolled out to PS4 and Xbox One.
"Whether this beta will be making it to our glorious motherboards is yet to be confirmed. Theoretically, there's no reason not to, as the extra testing of PC hardware, cross-platform support and other PC-specific features would be important. However, with the amount of datamining and 'spoiled' surprises that came out of the last PC beta, Capcom might want to avoid letting us have access to any more of it. There was a recent update to both systems, however, so it's still possible," PCGamesN reports.
