"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 will reveal the new relationship status of Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse).
According to Design & Trend, it has been confirmed that Aria and Ezra will no longer be a couple when the series returns early next year. Hanna will no longer be with Caleb as well, but she will be in a relationship with a new male character.
Spencer and Toby will also be single when the series premieres on ABC Family next year.
Meanwhile, fans of the show have been urging executive producer Marlene King to reconsider her decision to split up Aria and Ezra, Hanna and Caleb, and Spencer and Toby.
On her Instagram account, King shared a photo of Spencer and Toby and hinted on the possibility of the two reuniting.
"#Spoby season 6B #prettylittleliars. Onward. We continue. Drama ensues. Stay tuned to see if love prevails. #5yearsforward," she captioned the photo.
King's Instagram followers commented positively on the photo, and some of them asked the exec whether or not Toby and Spencer will reunite. Some fans also said that Hanna should continue dating Caleb because they have always been good for each other.
There were also some fans who want to see Aria and Ezra back together. However, they believe that the couple is the most difficult one to reunite.
In the teaser released by ABC Family for the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6, Ezra was featured shouting at Aria. The "5 Years Forward" episode also confirmed that he is the one who will struggle the most with his breakup. Ian Harding said that Ezra will turn to alcohol to cope with the split.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 will premiere on ABC Family on Jan. 12, 2016 at 8 p.m.
