"Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler recently teamed up with Sia for her "Alive" performance on "The Ellen Show." On Tuesday, the 13-year-old ALDC dancer showed off her dance skills when she performed alongside Sia who stood behind a black curtain.
According to Elle, "Maddie pulled out all the stops in the emotionally charged choreography - twirls, flips, window smashing, and more. It's impressive - and haunting."
The almost five-minute clip also showed brief but intense moments between Ziegler and Sia.
Even though Sia's legs and feet were the only thing audiences saw, the "Chandelier" singer and Ziegler faced each other at one point. After the song ended, Ziegler propped down on the ground, and Sia followed her a second later.
The video from "The Ellen Show" was recently released online on YouTube, and it shows talk show host Ellen DeGeneres imitating the two performers. DeGeneres also sat on the ground but didn't last long in the said position because she couldn't read her idiot board.
Meanwhile, fans were extremely pleased to see Ziegler and Sia work together on their fourth collaboration. The two previously worked together on "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart" and "Big Girls Cry." They will also team up for Sia's upcoming movie "Sister."
All three songs became massive hits, and even their live "Alive" performance on "The Ellen Show" already garnered more than 920,000 views on YouTube.
One fan Ash wteva wrote, "If I have the ability to read Sia's mind I'll see how much insanely good songs she hides from us."
Another fan @ItsKimiK commended Ziegler's performance and wrote, "I know that many people actually find her dancing weird and I thought so too at first when I watched the Chandelier video for the first time, but now I honestly am obsessed with it, I don't know why but there's something about it that I can't stop loving."
The official "Alive" music video doesn't feature Ziegler.
