“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) indicate that there is a possible gap between Sage Warner (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) after the presumed death of Christian.
Viewers have observed that Sage never let Nick grieve with her although she is broken to have lost a son and feels like she has lost everything. Her pregnancy appears to be a miracle since she revealed to Billy Abbott (Burgess Jenkins) that she cannot have children, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
During Sage's grief, she turns to Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) who is said to be the father of her child. While Sage appears rough to most people, she can only be pleasant to Adam.
With that, she feels that she can no longer stick with Nick knowing that she has lost her miraculous chance to be a mother and will no longer have a family of her own. Sage is broken not just because of the loss of Christian but also for losing her dreams of becoming a mother.
Sage snaps at everyone including Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), as a result of her grief. In one scene, she snapped at Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) who expressed her desire to stay with her mother Sharon (Sharon Case) as they go home with their baby who happens to be Christian.
When Sage snapped at Faith, it troubled Nick and made him question about the mental status of Sage. This also made him doubt if she can be trusted alone with Faith. Although Nick had been supportive to Sage, he might leave as he senses a marriage trouble.
Since Nick is also grieving for losing Christian and is not getting support from Sage, he would call Dr. Anderson for an individual therapy session. During the session, the doctor will imply that he is better without Sage in his life which will make him contemplate for divorce.
Apparently, it is the goal of Dr. Anderson to ruin the relationship of Sage and Nick. Apart from kidnapping Christian, she is also pushing the couple to break apart.
In a latest episode, Sage was able to hold baby Sullivan and was seen crying while she looks at him sleeping on her arms. Fans are wondering if Sage will feel that Sully is actually Christian, Soap Shows reported.
