"Tekken 7" a popular franchise from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment will no longer include the Tekken Tunes features and is reported to be released on the first quarter of 2016 or on February in the Western regions.
Fans are looking forward to use Tekken Tunes for the upcoming "Tekken 7" on consoles that allow players to listen to background music on every stage and to replace the music on their MP3 files. But it seems that it may not be possible for the next release as mentioned by Director and Producer Katsuhiro Harada in Twitter, Dual Shockers reported.
Harada-san said that the feature is impossible for the moment because it would require a system software update and a policy change by Sony. But he ensures fans that he will continue negotiating for the feature to be made available which was feared to may cause potential security issues.
Meanwhile, the speculated release on February may be possible to compete with the launching of Capcom's "Street Fighter V." Based on previous releases, it appears that arcade versions were launched on the same time this year making it feasible to release "Tekken 7" on February.
The Japanese version of the fighting game will have an iteration for the PlayStation 4 as announced during the Paris Games Week but there is no official date for release stated yet.
The game is reported to run on new platforms which would include intensive canon storyline and enhancements as it runs on Unreal Engine 4 for the first time, the official PlayStation blog stated. It will also feature highly detailed characters and environment.
The upcoming episode will have an improved design as Harada shared on Twitter saying, "Working on new graphics RT@KazamaAsuka Can we expect graphics upgrade in console version? The graphics barely improved since arcade released," Attack of the Fan Boy reported.
The PS4 version developed by Tekken Team and BANDAI NAMCO is also one way of commemorating the 20th anniversary of the birth of the game as it features the continuing fight of the Mishima clan with Kazumi Mishima, a new member of the clan.
