Lady Gaga has already bagged 5 Grammys and achieved international stardom but despite the fact that she is already a highly-accomplished artist, she cannot help but feel nervous during her first day of filming on the set of American Horror Story: Hotel.
"It was very nerve-wracking," she described. On Hotel, Gaga plays The Countess, a blood-thirsty vampiress of Hotel Cortez.
"I threw up on the way to the set," Gaga admitted to ET. "In a Ziploc bag. In my Rolls-Royce... I don't know why I thought that was funny, but it's funny!"
On her first day, Gaga arrived on the set wearing diamond pasties, a Band-Aid on her hoo-ha, heels and a black veil that Alexander McQueen designed for her on the day before he passed away. In her seemingly-notorious outfit, the singer-turned-actress approached the show's executive producer Ryan Murphy and handed her bag of bile.
When asked about what Murphy's reaction was to her strange gift, Gaga replied with an impersonation of the show's creator, "He was like, 'Oh you think you can disgust me? You can't!' The thing is, you think you can't get anything past him, but then he met me."
Aside from the unusual gift, Gaga's first day on the set also included an encounter with head lice. She narrated that one of the American Horror Story kids had lice on the first day.
She related, "... they had to shut down the set, but it was myfirst scene. So I was talking to the kid, but it was actually a 40-year-old woman on her knees with a blonde wig on pretending to be the kid. And I was like, 'I've never done this before!'"
Gaga continued, "The camera is on me, Ryan Murphy is screaming, 'Yasss Queen!' and I'm just really praying that I don't f**k this up."
Since her first day on "American Horror Story: Hotel", Gaga shared that she has developed a unique daily exercise to help her act better. She said that she spends a lot of her time thinking like The Countess.
