Rousey Vs Holm Rematch! UFC President Confirms Ultimate Rematch Is Definitely On

Ronda Rousey has been spotted around town keeping a low profile after she lost her first ever match at UFC 193 last month. Everyone wondered if the UFC star will ever return to the octagon to fight her nemesis, Holly Holm.

This lingering question was finally answered on Thursday when UFC president Dana White confirmed that there will be a rematch between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm! He announced this exciting rematch on ESPN Radio, an E! Online report said.

"I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and Lorenzo (Fertitta, UFC CEO) should probably lose our promoter's license," White said. "That is the fight that's going to happen. I don't know when, but that's the fight."

The interview on ESPN Radio said that the unscheduled rematch "is a when not an if." This notes that Ronda Rousey has been an undefeated fighter and has taken down powerful women in the world in just under a minute with her signature arm move. "She deserves a rematch. Holly agrees she deserves a rematch. We'll figure it out."

White and Holm has already confirmed that they want a rematch but what about Rousey? The female champion fighter is yet to publicly declare that she wants to face Holm again however it has been reported that after her first defeat, she was depressed and she was not ready to make any decisions on a possible rematch.

The UFC president seems very confident that Rousey is going to give in and he was the one who has spoken with her. A spokesperson from UFC confirmed to the sports network that White has indeed met with Rousey after her defeat.

"Dana did say that there would be a rematch. No potential dates have been discussed at this point," the spokesperson added. E! News tried to reach out to Rousey's representatives but was not available to make any comments.

Rousey once said on an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers that she will be back and that Holms should know that taking her down the second time won't be that easy. The female fighter said that she needs to train twice as hard and that she will be coming back hard. The E! Online report concluded.
