'Supernatural' Season 11 Mid-Season Finale Spoilers: Sam & Crowley Give Lucifer A Visit In Hell; Amara Gets Revenge

After having a vision of the falling angel in the previous episode, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is planning to give him a visit with an unlikely friend in the new episode of "Supernatural" Season 11.

In "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 8, Sam told his brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) about the vision he had when he reached out to God, and it involved Sam returning to the cage which holds the fallen angel, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). Dean does not entertain the idea of his younger brother going back to that cage and tells him that there could be another way to defeat the Darkness.

However, International Business Times reports that Sam won't listen to his older brother and might sneak out behind his back. The report revealed that Sam will work with Crowley (Mark Sheppard) to devise a plan as they pay their good old friend Lucifer a visit in hell. Apparently, it was reported that the visit won't end well for the both of them.

Meanwhile, Dean will take matters in his own hands as Christian Post reports that he will try to understand what kind of hold Amara (Emily Swallow) has on him, but this mission will pose a great threat to his life. It was reported that Amara continues to grow her powers and is plotting revenge against mankind. In the official synopsis for "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 9, it was said that Amara will unleash her power on a local town.

In episode 6, it was revealed that Amara was God's sister whom he locked away so that he can create mankind. Amara is now angry because she felt betrayed by her brother, and this is the reason why she wants to destroy mankind, to get back at him.

"Supernatural" Season 11 episode 9 titled "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" will air on The CW on Dec. 9.
