Pamela Anderson Covers Last Playboy Nude Issue with Sons Permission; Grateful for New Lease On Life

Pamela Anderson is back and well, sizzling hot!

The "Baywatch" actress battled Hepatitis C for 16 years. She's now back on track and announced her come back by gracing the cover of Playboy Magazine for it's historic last nude issue.

Anderson reveals with Entertainment Tonight that she was not expecting to be considered or even pose for Playboy again but they called and she answered.

She gushes, "I got a call from [Hugh Hefner's] attorney who said, 'We don't want anybody else. There's nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?"

Although not expecting, she made her gratitude towards Hefner known for inviting her to make the cover because she has been dealing with body issues and self-doubt for a few years.

"I had a rough few years where I felt a little insecure, 'cause you know everyone's getting older," Anderson says. "I thought, 'My gosh, I miss the Playboy days.' It was so glamorous, it was so chivalrous, there's so many people there that were so smart, and activism, and art. You know, I just kind of miss that whole crowd and us being these little giggling girls kind of running around the mansion half naked and trying to get everybody's attention."

Although excited to be part of the last nude issue of Playboy, she was hesitant about it at first because of her two sons who used to be teased about her in the past. She asked their permission beforehand. It turned out, they were the ones who encouraged her to do it, telling her that they are older now and no longer embarrassed of her. And so she did.

Anderson's battle with Hepatitis was not easy but she's glad it is now over. She told People that now that it's finally over, she feels that she has a new chance on life.
