'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' News and Updates: New Full Trailer Reveals the Real Villain, Doomsday; Dawn of Justice Introduces Other DC Films

It was in San Diego Comic Con last July when the first full trailer of the DC superhero movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was released. The trailer established the conflict between the two superheroes. It also presented some of the cast members like Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Lex Luthor (Jessie Eisenberg), and Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons). Last Monday, Warner released a short teaser to build up the anticipation for the next full trailer which was finally revealed last Wednesday.

The 3-minute preview opens with the Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne arrogantly introducing themselves to each other. There's tension between them that is aggravated by each of them questioning their opinion on the other's alter ego. Clark calls Batman a remorseless vigilante, and Bruce calls Superman as a false god. The scene goes on with their litanies of issues towards the other, until Lex interrupts them.

As the teaser goes on showing the battle between the two, it reveals that they will eventually become allies to fight Doomsday. And just as Batman was about to be burnt by the villain's powerful blast, an unexpected teammate in the form of Wonder Woman shows up. The gentlemen are baffled that this fiery female warrior shows up out of nowhere. The last few moments of the trailer focus on the 'holy trinity' all set to fight the unstoppable creature transformed by Luthor.

The movie is said to be the platform to introduce the other films from the DC cinematic universe  including Suicide Squad, two Justice League installments which are DC's version of Marvel's Avengers, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Batman featuring Ben Affleck.

The film which will be released on March 25 2016 is directed by '300' Director Zack Snyder. Snyder is also in charge of producing Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad.

Comic fans all over the world will not run out of their DC and Marvel fix for at least 5 years, as the two cinematic universe will be very much busy transforming their favorite comics into live action.
