There is still a hype that is ongoing with anything that's is related to "Grant Theft Auto." As mods and other content keep coming in, the fans of the game are kept continuously happy. But it has been two years since "GTA V" was release and fans have begun wondering when Rockstar Games would release a sequel.
Then here comes rumors about "Grand Theft Auto 6," unfortunately developers must be keeping a really tight lid on any information pertaining to GTA 6 because to date, fans can only speculate that if ever there is going to be a sequel, it would not be released earlier than 2018.
According to Express, the success of "GTA Online" influences the way "Grant Theft Auto V" evolves. It also provides a strong possibility for the "GTA V" sequel to give importance to multiplayer mode. On the other hand, it has been reported that the games like this one are not expected to have yearly releases and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has explained why.
Zelnick rerportedly told MKM Partners Investor Day in New York City, "The market asks us, 'Why don't you annualize your titles?' We think with the non-sports titles, we are better served to create anticipation and demand." He continued, "On the one hand to rest the title and on the other hand to have the highest quality in the market, which takes time. You can't do that annually."
Moreover, the good news is that Zelnick has assured fans that Grand Theft Auto, being treated as "permanent" franchises, will not disappear from shelves
In the meantime, there are also rumors suggesting that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling may be featured in "GTA 6." Moreover, back in July, according to Yibada, the next "GTA" installment might be connected to "Red Dead Redemption" with its protagonist will allegedly be a descendant of John Marston. Other rumors also suggest the next GTA might aslo feature a map the size of the entire USA.
"GTA V" is currently considered to be one of the top 10 best game releases available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
