'Mighty No. 9' Release Update: Trailer Reveals Game Modes; 'Boss Rush,' 'Challenge,' 'Maniac,' 'Online Race Battle' Modes Highlighted for February 2016 Release

The "Mighty No. 9" trailer for their soon-to-be released game was recently released by Deep Silver, the game's publisher. The new trailer reveals a lot of the game features and game modes that will be enjoyed by fans. It was also announced that the game will finally be released in early 2016.

The "Mighty No. 9" brand manager, David Waters, posted on the official US PlayStation blog the good news about their new game. According to him, it will be hitting the shelves on Feb. 9, 2016. He also announced a new trailer for the game, which features a lot about the game modes available to the players.

The "Mighty No. 9" game modes that were included in the discussion were, the "Boss Rush Mode" wherein the players can challenge the Mighty bosses in the game, the "Challenge Mode" where one can test his or her 2D side-scrolling ability, and the "Maniac Mode" which is an insane mode because it is a hard mode with a one-hit death.

An "Online Race Battle Mode" is available as well, which was described in the post as: "battle it out online in a race through the main levels battling your opponent to get the highest score."

"Mighty No. 9" will also include an online, two-player Co-op Challenge mode, where players will be Beck and Call, and who will battle it out with the game opponents primarily using their skills and abilities, Latin Post reported.

Additional information for the upcoming "Mighty No. 9" game will also be revealed during the PlayStation Experience happening on Dec. 5 and 6 in San Francisco. Inafune-san, the game's creator, will also be at the event.

"Mighty No. 9" will be made available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation 4, Mac, Linux, Wii U, PC, and Nintendo 3DS. Fans can watch the official trailer of "Mighty No. 9" on PlayStation's official YouTube channel.
