"Shameless" actress Emmy Rossum was seen donning a bridal gown on the set of the show. In reality, Rossum has also been recently engaged to "Mr. Robot" creator Sam Esmail.
Fans of "Shameless" cannot wait for Season 6 of the show to kickoff and every bit of detail about the series that comes their way is met with speculations and rumors. According to E! Online, the actress who plays Fiona Gallagher was spotted wearing a classic white bridal gown and veil to match on the set of "Shameless." While it is now public knowledge that Rossum has accepted Esmail's proposal and is already engaged to the director, the photos of Rossum in a wedding dress circulating the web is just that -- a scene from her show.
Rossum is Fiona in the series and she is the eldest of the Gallagher children who are at the center of the storyline for "Shameless." But instead of getting her fans excited about the prospect of their favorite character getting hitched, it poses a big problem. It is because Fiona, as her fans and followers of the show know, is married to Gus Pfender. Rumors went into overdrive as to who she will be marrying after presumably getting a divorce from her current husband.
With her upcoming wedding in the works, fans of Rossum no doubt are rejoicing over the photos of her in a wedding gown. Esmail, 38, proposed to her in August and gushed over her saying yes to him on Twitter. According to his tweet, "Best news I've received all year: @emmyrossum said yes. Pretty sure nothing will top it."
Meanwhile, in a report by Daily Mail, one of Rossum's photos on the set caught her seemingly in deep thought while wearing the gown. Fans and those who've seen the pictures would like to think that the 29-year-old is brooding on her wedding to Esmail. Rossum said in an interview about her groom to be, "He doesn't know chivalry too well, so we have to bust his chops a little bit. And tell him every time a woman stood up and went to the restroom, he had to stand up."
