After a whirlwind love affair filled with controversy, a new report claimed that The Voice's favorite couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are taking their relationship to the next level.
According to Hollywood Life, a source heard the couple talk about future plans during a "cozy night together." And it turns out that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were thought to be so in love with each other that they are planning to get married.
The insider, who was said to be close to the couple, revealed to Hollywood life that the two talked about taking the next step and "not looking back."
"Blake asked what she was thinking and Gwen just blurted out, 'Let's get married!' Blake didn't even blink and said, 'Let's do it!' That's how it started and now they're not looking back," the insider shared.
A Shelton-Stefani wedding will surely be an exciting event but according to the same source, fans shouldn't expect an extravagant ceremony. The couple are reportedly thinking of having a low-key wedding.
"The thought of planning an actual big wedding celebration is the last thing either of them would ever want to do, so they've agreed that just disappearing for a few weeks should be ideal. They're thinking someplace very laid-back and tropical like Mexico," the source said.
Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani really ready to take their relationship to the next level? Aside from the aforementioned marriage plans, rumor has it that Shelton is also planning to spend Christmas with Stefani's children. Another source reported, "Blake loves spending time at his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and he wants Gwen and the kids to have a peaceful time with him there over the holidays."
Having a break is not the only reason that the country artist wants to spend the holidays in Oklahoma. The source pointed out that Shelton hopes to teach Stefani's children "how to be cowboys" and he also wants them to experience the outdoors. The source continued that Stefani liked the idea.
