Caitlyn Jenner Sued Over Fatal Car Accident That Killed 1, Injured Several Others

A family who suffered serious injuries in a fatal vehicular accident, which involved Caitlyn Jenner earlier this year, sued the TV star, citing "tremendous distress and suffering."

The Wolf-Milesi family of Malibu sued Jenner for negligence over the February car accident which killed one woman and left others injured, including two children. Jenner allegedly rear-ended another car which crashed into the Wolf-Milesi's family's sport utility vehicle, a report from LA Times disclosed.

The woman who was killed, Kim Howe, was the driver of the other car. She was killed in the accident after Jenner allegedly rear-ended her car and pushed it into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway. The members of the prominent Wolf-Milesi family, including two children, suffered injuries and emotional trauma, the lawsuit stated.

Howe died when the SUV, which was driven by Peter Wolf-Milesi, hit her car head-on. He suffered serious wrist injuries and his 1-month-old son was unresponsive after the accident. His wife also sustained blunt-force injuries and requires ongoing treatment, the article on LA Times stated.

The suit also stated that the "emotional effects of being involved in a collision that has taken the life of another has caused tremendous distress and suffering for the Wolf-Milesi family," the article further revealed.

In an article on CBC.ca, Wolf-Milesi, who is a Grammy-nominated composer, said that he was unable to work because of the damage to his wrist and hands due to the accident.

According to the results of the investigation from the Sheriff's office, "Jenner was traveling at an unsafe speed for the traffic conditions. Prosecutors declined to file a vehicular manslaughter charge against the 66-year-old Jenner."

Jenner, who was born Bruce Jenner and was once married to reality star Kris Jenner, has not yet publicly made a comment regarding this recent lawsuit. Although he did release a statement after the accident, expressing sympathy to those who were involved during the collision, the article on LA Times stated. "It is a devastating tragedy," the statement read. "I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them."

Jenner is also being sued by the stepchildren of Howe and another driver involved in the accident.
