The man behind huge companies such as Waste Management, Blockbuster Video and Sports team Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins, billionaire Wayne Huizenga puts his Tennessee retreat home in the market for $3.9 million.
According to Realtor, Huizenga has a collection of real estates in Florida, Tennessee as well as in North Carolina, which he is starting to liquidate. Back in 2013 his North Carolina hilltop luxury home was in the market for $4.2 million. Its listing is under Barbara Baker of Baker Realty Group. He also sold his Fort Lauderdale property for $6.4 million in 2013, two years after it has been put in the market for $9.9 million.
In addition to that, listing agent Janice McClanahan said that he is now selling his 7,763-square-foot home in Piney Flats, Tennessee which is said to be the summer house of Wayne and his wife. It is approximately an hour and 40 minutes away from Knoxville.
Its patio will give you great views of the mountains and woodlands that are close to the area. It has four bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The main floor of the house will welcome you with its magnificent cathedral ceilings and two-level windows. Its land area is roughly around 10 acres and it even has its own boat ramp as well as a floating dock on Boone Lake.
McClanahan said that the house "has a lot of character" and most of all an amazing view. The house is located near Cherokee National Forest which is an area that is famous for tourists.
Meanwhile, back in 2013 Gossip Extra reported that the former Miami Dolphins owner made it clear that he wanted to sell some of his assets and properties because he does not want his family to have trouble with the huge estate taxes once he dies. The billionaire mogul is turning 78 this month.
