Fans of the 10-year long "Prison Break" TV series is about to get a treat this coming March 2016 as the series will debut its fifth season on Fox. Lead actors Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller will reprise their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows in a 10-episode series.
TVLine has revealed several shows from the past that are about to return on the television screens as remakes or sequels of TV seriesfrom the "60's through the 90's," which include "The X-Files," "Full House" and "Prison Break." "Prison Break" will return to Fox on its 10th anniversary.
Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will lead the show together with some characters from the past that are expected to return to reprise their roles as well.
Inquisitr initially reported that there is still no concrete details on how the series will push through. However, there is a huge possibility that the show will pick up from the events of Season 4.
Michael Scofield died during the finale of "Prison Break" Season 4. However, with Miller returning to the show, there are speculations that Michael never really died back in Season 4 but faked his death instead to help his family get away. A twist in the plot will most likely make him "return from the dead" together with all the possible family drama and deceptions that will be revealed after his supposed death.
It's difficult to speculate on how "Prison Break" Season 5 will push through with Michael's death and Miller's return to the show. One thing is for sure, the 10-year-old TV series will return to the small screen this coming 2016 with exciting surprises and familiar faces.
