After Rebekah (Claire Holt) will be rescued, The Strix are into another Mikaelson sibling as they target Freya (Riley Voelkel) in the new episode of "The Originals" season 3.
According to International Business Times, although the family is happy that Rebekah is now safe, they observe a major change from their sister. In the promotional video for "The Originals" season 3 episode 9, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) brings their sister back home in New Orleans but later in the video, Rebekah can be seen in a standoff with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin).
Elijah then interrupts the fight and asks Rebekah to control herself. It was reported that the change in Rebekah's behavior could have something to do with the mark on her arm and also the dagger which was used on her. Freya believes that the dagger was a cursed object and with that, the powerful Mikaelson which is now the new target of the powerful organization of ancient vampires called The Strix.
Meanwhile, the first sired vampires Lucien (Andrew Lees) and Tristan (Oliver Ackland) plans on activating a certain cursed object in order to produce a boundary which could lock the original family forever. However, they would reportedly need a powerful witch to do this. Apparently they initially planned on asking Davina (Danielle Campbell) for help, but then she was no longer the Regent to the witches of New Orleans.
On other news, Cartermatt reported that the official synopsis for episode 9 reveal that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will continue to keep watch over Cami (Leah Pipes) while she tries to help Detective Kinney (guest star Jason Dohring) who has been having problems since Lucian compelled him. And there will also be a confrontation between Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) and this will cause the latter to question his decision to stay out of the witch business.
"The Originals" season 3 episode 9 will air on The CW on December 10.
