'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' News and Spoilers: Harrison Ford Talks About Revisiting Hans Solo; Accidentally Confirms Spoiler on Twitter

Playing Han Solo in the 1977 premiere of Star Wars has opened many Hollywood doors for Harrison Ford. Since then, he has played other legendary roles like Indiana Jones and Jack Ryan. Now, the 73-year-old veteran actor comes back to the movie that launched him to fame.

In the most awaited continuation of the Star Wars saga, Ford reprises his role as the iconic Hans Solo after 38 years. He tells People in a special Star Wars issue how much he enjoyed to have been part of the new movie. He says, "It was fun to work with [director] J.J. Abrams, who brought great energy, passion, and clear focus to the whole event. So I had a good time."

During the Star Wars: The Force Awakens press conference last Sunday, Ford was asked what it was like to revisit his character. Ford answered metaphorically, "It was comfortable. I had walked more than a mile in his shoes, so when I put back on his shoes I felt like I knew the path. The shoes knew the path." He also adds that he was happy to have come back, and that he felt he was in good hands along with a good script.

Ford was careful not to spill any details of the film during the media day not because he wants to keep it as a secret, but because he wants fans and viewers to discover the movie by themselves. He explains, "I don't want to talk about the film, I want people to submit themselves. I want people to let the whole thing wash over them and discover it in context of the music and the popcorn in a sequential way."

But as much as he tried not to, Ford accidentally confirmed a major spoiler through a Twitter post during an official Star Wars chat last Friday. A fan asked him of his favorite scene from the movie and he replies, "The sword fight with Rey and Kilo Ren. Fantastic visual storytelling," confirming speculations that Rey and Kylo Ren would battle it out in the movie.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 18.
