Stacey Snider, current CEO of DreamWorks Pictures, has reportedly put up her huge mansion in Brentwood, Los Angeles, for sale with an asking price of $15.49 million.
The Trulia Blog broke the news of the listing, which comes at a crucial time of change for the talented CEO. Snider has served in the top position since 2006. Her contract ends this year and she has reportedly intimated film-maker, founder Stephen Spielberg that she intends to depart.
News of her upcoming departure spewed several speculations on the web. In fact, Rupert Murdoch, the founder of 21st Century Fox also expressed his desire to hire Snider at a top position in the company.
"I would like to. I'm a great admirer of hers. And I've had long talks with her," Murdoch said in an interview with Fortune magazine.
Sources familiar with the deal told The Wrap that the "ball is in her court", meaning Snider gets to decide if she wants to take it up.
While her career move is still a matter of speculation, Snider has made up her mind to move from her current mansion. The listing of the home lies with Ann Eysenring of The Agency.
Listing records state that the home is a 11,137-square-feet single-family, multi-winged residence sitting on a large 35,878-square-feet lot. The main house has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms with plush interiors. The home features mixed flooring with drywall ceilings and French doors and windows. One of the rooms has a mirror ceiling.
Luxury amenities include a library, a sitting room, a theater and a fully equipped gym among others. Outside, the house has a pool and a cabana with formal gardens and several courtyards. There is a 11-car parking garage as well.
The listing describes the residence as a "meticulously renovated Brentwood estate" done up by "architect M. Brian Tichenor and renowned designer, Kelly Wearstler." It also call the home "nothing short of impeccable."
The Trulia Blog calls it the "ultimate trophy property for any Hollywood insider."
