Game developer Techland has officially announced that it is planning to release a new and an improved version of the popular game "Dying Light." The game's improved version which will be called as the "Enhanced Edition" is expected to be rolled out next year. The company said that once the game will be rolled out, it will be given to the existing players for free, a report Gamespot said on Monday.
According to the report, the "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" features a new expansion pack called "The Following." Aside from this, the company said the game will be totally enhanced to improve the over-all gaming experience. The "enhancement" will include all the game's downloadable contents which include "the Bozak Horde and Be the Zombie modes, as well as the Cuisine & Cargo challenge missions and Ultimate Survivor Bundle."
"We didn't want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on. That's why for the last half year we've been working on a ton of enhancements that we're now going to make available to everyone. We're adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger," lead game designer Maciej Binkowski said in a statement as quoted in the report.
PC GamesN reports that the game's new trailer will not just be a simple graphic overhaul. It was said that Techland has promised that the game's enhanced version will have "improved visuals, new animations, better AI and several gameplay improvements."
"Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is coming to PC on February 6. If you already own the base game, you will get the enhancements for free and will be able to purchase The Following as a standalone DLC," the report said.
