Kate Middleton Planning to Snub Spanish Royals, Queen Elizabeth Furious?

King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are scheduled for an official visit to England from March 8 to 10, 2016. However, reports state that Kate Middleton and Prince William have a previously planned vacation during that time. Now, the Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly insisting they stick to their vacation plans and skip their royal duties.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Middleton's hard stance earned the ire of Queen Elizabeth once again, who personally extended the invitation to the Spanish royals. The visit would be a historic one for both countries. The last time a Spanish monarch visited Great Britain was in 1986, during King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia's reign. Likewise, the last time Queen Elizabeth paid a visit to Spain was in 1988.

Princess Kate has just recently resumed her royal obligations after a five-month long maternity leave following the birth of Princess Charlotte. She gave a notably exquisite appearance in October, during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to England.

Middleton and Prince William have been known to take a long breather during late February to March. According to the Daily Mail UK, one of their favorite holiday destinations is Mustique, a private island off the coast of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribean. The famous couple is said to have been vacationing there since 2008. The island has a no-fly zone policy, which gives them much-needed privacy.

Last February, they were spotted jetting off to the exclusive resort, with their son Prince George in tow. Middleton's whole family also joined them, including sister Pippa and brother James. The Duke and the Duchess reportedly kept a low profile during the trip, but was spotted in their swimsuits and frolicking along the beach.

Will Princess Kate snub Spain's royals over this exotic resort, or will Queen Elizabeth force her to cancel her vacation plans?
