A teaser clip for the second season of the Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil was said to have been shown behind closed doors in a recent Comic Con in Brazil.
According to Comic Book, despite measures to keep the lid on the Comic Con Brazil-exclusive footage, a generous Tumblr user by the name Cherryvane has narrated a detailed description of the said footage.
According to the Tumblr user, the clip began with Daredevil, glorious in his costume, walking into a room that looks like a huge refrigerator for where butchered meat hang. Upon hearing something he realizes that there are also people hanging from the ceiling. There was one survivor and Daredevil questions him. Cherryvane quotes Daredevil asking, "Why did they do this to you?" The survivor responds, "They? It was just a guy."
Cherryvane then describes the camera zooming in on silent Daredevil before the scene change. The viewers then finds Matt Murdock on top of a building, catching a man prepping to fire a sniper rifle, and it did not look like he knew the man. Of course the man with the gun was Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal. He was not aware of Matt Murdock's presence. Daredevil appears before he could fire a shot. They engaged in a fight that was cut short by the Daredevil logo, "Netflix" and 2016.
As previously reported, "Daredevil" Season 2 will introduce a new villain for the blind protagonist. The Punisher is coming to Hell's Kitchen, played by Jon Bernthal ("Walking Dead"). Frank Castle's ways of serving justice as a vigilante will absolutely contradict with Matt Murdock's understanding of justice as a lawyer. Unlike season 1's Fisk, who was a calculated villain, Frank Castle is impulsive and kind of an extremist. Matt Murdock does not approve of Castle's ways and is convinced that The Punisher must be stopped.
Although "Daredevil" Season 2 is confirmed to return on Netflix, no release date has been announced yet. There are also rumors that Elektra may also be introduced in the upcoming season.
