The remake of "Final Fantasy VII" for PlayStation 4 looks good on the trailer and the good news is that it is now available.
"Final Fantasy VII" was one of the best games developed by "Square" and released in 1997 for Sony's PlayStation. It features the Buster Sword wielding protagonist Cloud Strife. The title has been remade for Sony's PlayStation 4.
The trailer for the remake was presented during the 2015 PlayStation Experience held last weekend in San Francisco, California. And with respect to graphics, "Final Fantasy VII" surely underwent some serious overhaul. A copy of the trailer was uploaded by Square Enix NA on YouTube, with the description that says "Mako Reactors are draining the life energy of the planet. The Shinra Corporation rules over a corrupt surveillance state. A few prosper, the rest are left to rot in the city slums of Midgar. That changes tonight."
"The elite mercenary and ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife has been hired by the resistance movement AVALANCHE to fight back. Their mission will change the world forever."
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Final Fantasy VII" remake producer Yoshinori Kitase has explained that the game is not entirely action-based but "real-time based." The online PlayStation blog quotes what the producer said in a footage, "I can't say the new game is completely action-based, but it has more of that element and real-time than the previous game.
"However, what makes Final Fantasy and RPG different from other games is that the players have the ability to choose weapons, capabilities and magic to be strategic minded, so while the new game has more real-time element, it will also maintain that strategy building element, balancing these two factors perfectly to enhance the gaming experience."
With this, according to Kotaku, the "Final Fantasy VII" could be episodic in nature if compared to the original series. But players can see for themselves as "Final Fantasy VII" is now available on PS4 at $15.99, complete with a 32 percent launch discount.
