Kate Middleton started having festive celebrations with her younger sister Pippa Middleton and her mother Carole Middleton.
The trio had a girl's night out when the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Covent Garden restaurant Clos Maggiore in London with her female family members, leaving Prince Charlotte and Prince George with Prince William or the royal nannies.
The Middleton's “were happy to dine publicly” in the London restaurant but were also given a private area to dine so that they have a good time away from inquisitive people, Irish Independent reported.
Apart from that, Carole Middleton and Pippa Middleton also joined Prince William for a traditional carol service in Chelsea, Central London while the Duchess was left with the children.
Said event in Chelsea was organized by Tom van Straubenzee who is the godfather to Princess Charlotte. It aims to raise money for the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund which is named after the brother of Tom who happens to be a close friend of Prince William and Prince Harry.
Prince Harry, Prince William, Tom van Strubenzee, and Henry von Straubenzee were almost inseparable since they were together while growing up and were even said to be classmates.
“We are both delighted to be patrons of Henry’s memorial fund. Each year brings with it more news about the progress that this charity continues to make. This is largely down to the generosity and support of donors, many of whom are here tonight at this, the seventh Christmas carol service,” Prince William said during the annual celebration which is a way for Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton to kick-start their Christmas season.
Meanwhile, the Royal Family is making plans for Christmas wherein Kate Middleton and Prince William will join the Royal Family at Sandringham. Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton as well as her brother James and sister Pippa will join the royal family, Hello Magazine reported.
