Things will go from bad to worse for Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) but Severide (Taylor Kinney) is willing to help him in the new episode of "Chicago Fire" season 4.
In "Chicago Fire" season 4 episode 8, Boden worked on looking for the real person behind Serena's (Ilfenesh Hadera) accusation but because of the scandal, Boden was forced to be replaced by Captain Patterson (Brian White) when he was arrested and the Firehouse 51 is reportedly not happy about it so Severide steps in and helps Boden find the real culprit for all of these. He is in a mission to find Serena who was gone missing after Boden's wife Donna (Melissa Ponzio) confronted her in public. Patterson was seen questioning Boden's ability to lead amidst the scandal in the previous episode of the show. It turned out that he did wanted to have Boden's position and now that he has it, what will his presence do in the Firehouse 51?
According to Ecumenical News, the official synopsis for "Chicago Fire" season 4 episode 9 reveal that Severide will be in search for Serena's location in the mission to help Chief Boden clear his name. it was also reported that Severide will be with Jamie (Rachel Nichols) in the quest to find Serena. With this, "Chicago P.D's" Officer Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and Officer Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) will be making an appearance to find more evidence in Boden's case.
Meanwhile, Christian Post reported that the other members of the Firehouse 51 will also be facing their own struggles as tension rises between Jimmy (Steven R. McQueen) and Chili (Dora Madison) and this will draw people's attention to them. Elsewhere Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) will also be finding Freddie (Ralph Rodriguez) a job that would keep him close by.
"Chicago Fire" season 4 Episode 9 will air on NBC on December 8.
