Fox hit series "Empire" star Taraji P. Henson who is famously known as "Cookie" is selling her Los Angeles home for $3.25 million.
According to Trulia, Henson's Hollywood Hills home is built in 2009 and features Moorish accents which are inspired from North African and Iberian Peninsula region. This three-level home, with high ceilings and beautiful floor plans, offers spectacular views of Los Angeles Basin as well as the downtown area.
Realtor shared that the house's Moorish accents compliments perfectly with its wooden details and fixtures. The three fireplaces with stunning mantels and Moroccan multi-colored chandeliers that are found both inside and in the balconies add more beauty to the house.
The Beachwood Canyon Mansion has four bedrooms, all of which have large walk-in closets and en suite bathrooms. Henson converted one of the bedrooms and turned it into a dressing room that fits perfectly for "Cookie's taste." Taraji's dressing room has a built-in cabinetry, a salon chair and a bathroom with a shampoo bowl.
The 4,202-square-foot house in a 10,212-square-foot lot has a huge gourmet kitchen which features a large prep island, custom-made cabinetry and high-end stainless appliances. There is a large pantry and a wine cellar that is good for more than 600 bottles. It is the atrium window that is over the kitchen sinks that adds sunlight and serenity in the area.
According to LA Curbed, it is noticeable that the house is filled with "elaborately decorated woods" that can be seen from the kitchen's carved island down to the staircase banister that welcomes everyone upon entering the house. Outside, there are areas for entertaining guests and a "established garden." There is also a private outdoor fire pit with built-in seating and hot tub, perfect for viewing city lights.
Back in July, Variety reported that Henson rented a modest starter home in Glendale, California for $3,700 per month.
