The Samsung Galaxy S7 may not be released next year which contrasted to the expected February launching. However, rumors about the features, the price and the specs have already been doing the rounds.
Rumors about the price, specs as well as the Samsung Galaxy S7 features were already circulated around the internet. Different sources are out to give the phone lovers a hint on what they are going to expect from Samsung's upcoming phone release.
In terms of the phone's pricing, Indian Express reported that Samsung Galaxy S7 might not be expensive compared to the previous releases. In fact, it is even 10 percent cheaper than the recently released S6.
Several surprising facts about the Samsung Galaxy S7 phone were also out. Apart from the cheap phone pricing, there will be two different processors that are used to run the whole phone system. Based from the report, the phone will have the "company's own Exynos 8890 chipset and another variant from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 SoC."
With the Snapdragon 820 processor, there are reports saying that Samsung will be adding one cool feature that will surely reshape the phone systems later on. This is the add-on heating pipes pre-installed in the next generation phones including the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Korean Times mentioned that there will be small changes with the design since Samsung is not making a big deal with the appearance of the phone. Rather, they are focused on the improvements on the performance especially the picture quality along with the other features as well. They will stick to the metal and glass design like those in S6 and S6 Edge.
One newspaper source said, "As the S6 and S6 Edge represented progress, the S7 will have improvements both in picture quality, performance and some other new features."
"But because smartphones have already been commoditized, you don't need to spend more on a surface overhaul."
Considering the phone performance, the type-C USB and a microSD slot were also added to Samsung Galaxy S7. These types of slots are used in Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X and OnePlus 2. This time, Samsung will consider adding them to the new smartphone.
