Joel Madden, the "Good Charlotte" frontman, and his wife Nicole Richie have reportedly sold off their Glendale, Los Angeles, home for $1.87 million, exactly the price they had listed it for.
Madden and Richie moved to a Laurel Canyon home soon after they had their daughter Harlow. They now live there with their two daughters - Harlow and Sparrow. That particular residence is located in a gated compound and has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
Madden and Richie purchased the Glendale home in November 2004 for $1.8 million. In 2011, the residence was also offered for rent at $45,950 per month.
The couple put it on the market for $1.87 million in April this year and has managed to unload it for the listed price within two months.
According to the public records, the residence is a 4,718-square-feet single-family house, comprising of four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Built in 1930, the renovated house sits on a 0.38-acre lot. Interiors feature hardwood flooring, glass windows and drywall ceilings.
The living area has a fireplace and there is a formal dining space too. The kitchen has custom cabinetry and a breakfast bar. A study is also a part of the house. All the bedrooms have large closet spaces too.
Outside, the home has a garden with a fountain. An above-ground spa is also available. The home offers a three-car parking garage.
