In less than two weeks, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will finally hit the big screen giving the fans a much awaited relief from the excitement that's been building up. After watching the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII" however, fans would surely go back to their anxious ways in wondering what's in store for them after the latest episode. Luckily, the Hit Fix website was able to dish out some spoilers in regards to the casts.
As per the news website, there's a huge possibility that John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, and Oscar Isaac will be going back for the untitled "Star Wars: Episode VIII." During a press conference, the head of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy dished out some details for the upcoming film. When she was asked for updates in regards to the upcoming episode, she stated that key story elements were already being decided on, some aspects however were left for the individual film makers to work on,
She then added that: "these guys (patting Boyega on the back) are about to begin production on Episode 8" with "Looper" director Rian Johnson at the helm."
As per Los Angeles Times, Gwendoline Christie's character, Captain Phasma will be coming back for the 8th episode. Some of the Star Wars characters will be getting their back story revealed all throughout the film as it will be focused on how they came about.
"We haven't mapped out every single detail yet, but obviously everybody is talking to one another, working together, and that collaboration is I think is what is going to guarantee that everybody has a say in how we move forward with this. And so far it's going great. J.J. [Abrams] and Rian [Johnson] already talk at length, because Rian is about to start shooting Episode VIII - these guys are getting ready to head over in January."
