Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island Mansion Attacked, Three Arrested

Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home was attacked by three Connecticut residents, who hurled beer bottles at the property and cussed at the security guards, Sunday.

The Police arrested the trio - Michael Horrigan (29), his roommate Tristan Kading (28) and Emily Kading (26) - on charges of misdemeanor and breach of peace. TMZ talked to Tristan Kading, who said that they did not intend on hurting anyone nor did they have anything against Swift. Apparently, they were just drinking and it got out of hand.

The three were released on conditions that they would appear in court, reports Fox News. Swift wasn't at home at that time.

This is not the first time Swift is facing problems in the area. Last year, Lucas H. Vorsteveld - a 22-year-old die-hard Swift fan, was arrested on charges of "trespassing". He was arrested after he admitted to swimming up to the beach in front of Swift's mansion with the intention of meeting the star crooner. However, upon seeing the guards he changed his mind and swam back to his starting point, which was a private area.

Commenting on Security threats, Swift once said in an interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine:

"I get nervous when I have stalker incidents. I try not to talk too much about it because it scares me. Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That's why I'm so grateful I have people looking after me, like [my bodyguard] Dennis."

Swift's Rhode Island home spans an area of more than 11,000 square feet. Comprising of eight bedrooms, ten full and one half bathrooms and eight fireplaces, the four-storey place is a luxurious mega mansion. It has about 700 feet of shoreline.

Apart from the Rhode Island residence, Swift has a home in Beverly Hills and a condo in Nashville. Her childhood home in Nashville sold for $700,000 last year.

More recently, there were rumors that Swift had purchased "Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson's Tribeca penthouse complex. She was spotted walking out of the Tribeca complex wearing a pink and white crop top with a matching skirt that showed off her toned pins.
