Eco-Friendly Pre-Made Hobbit Houses Makes Eco Magic, Gives Off Feeling Like You're In 'Shire'

Eco-friendly house designs have become the new trend for housing developments. This includes the pre-fab pre-made Hobbit houses that bring future residents to the Shire, the fantasy world created by J.R.R. Tolkein in his novels "The Hobbit" and "The Lord Of The Rings" trilogy. Reports state that these kinds of houses somewhat create magic to future residents.

Digital Trends stated that these pre-made Hobbit houses have green roofing features which are literally covered with plants. According to the source, they are "verdant and eco-friendly." Obviously, these houses promote an environmental friendly aura through its designs which are both attractive and bring convenience as well.

The convenience part can be experienced with the house's capacity to bring down the temperature from the roof, which then allows the residents to save energy from using air-condition and any other forms of appliance to alleviate heat inside the house.

For the pre-made Hobbit houses, problems with heat are not likely to occur because of the design itself that brings much more comfort to the people inside. The source described the house as "a garden in the sky."

The houses look like the Alaskan igloos, however, they are covered with green grasses on top. Although they're made eco-friendly, the interior of the house aren't compromised. They are built like any other normal houses are done.

What is really cool for these pre-made Hobbit houses is the fact that they are situated along the mountainous ranges where in every corners what the people could just see are all green. This kind of scenery brings relaxation, too.

The prefab Hobbit houses are built from FRP or Fiber Reinforced Polymer. There would be three people to fit per house where it is approximately 405 square feet in size. To keep everything together, screws, epoxy and polyurethane beams are place with sealants to secure the panels to concrete beams which serves as the base.

Aside from these materials used for these pre-made Hobbit houses, other structural components were also utilized. Wooden doors, galvanized steel screws and an elastomeric sealant were also utilized in these prefab eco-friendly soon-to-be homes.
