The GRAMMYs is the most sought after awards show in the music industry. When the nominees for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced on Monday morning, many were left surprised by the results.
Alicia Keys had the honor of announcing the nominees for the four leading categories of the awards event on "CBS This Morning."
The show's Twitter account even shared a photo of the envelopes, which was aptly captioned: "The envelopes are in the building! @aliciakeys kicks off #GRAMMYs nominees, ahead on @CBSThisMorning."
Leading the pack with the most nominees was Kendrick Lamar with 11 GRAMMY nominations, followed by Taylor Swift and The Weeknd who garnered seven nominations each.
Kendrick Lamar earned nominations for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Rap Album, to name a few. Check out the full list of nominees via Entertainment Tonight below:
