A narrow house in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps, strangely named 'Gut Feeling' is considered one of the best vacation rentals around the world. Surrounding the tiny house are magnificent mountains and a picturesque landscape.
The estate has three well-utilized levels. The ground floor has the kitchen, dining room and living room, the next floor nests the bedroom and bathroom. And the top floor has enough space that can function as an additional bedroom or a den. Two elevated terraces add extra area to the house, giving space for an outdoor chitchat over coffee or brunch. The house façade features an almost hidden garage where a car could park.
The interior design is composed of dark neutrals like grey and black, combined with wood, contributing to the natural feel of the home. On the ground floor, a rectangular box takes the central space; this holds the kitchen sink, table, and cooking area. Beside it is a long dining table with a couple of chairs. There is ample lighting complemented by the natural light outdoors. Accents include hanging lamps dressed in matte black, some fresh flowers, and an art piece that goes well with the breathtaking backdrop of the rental. The corner of the ground floor contains a storage area as well as a mini bar.
The next level has a mini library as well as a modern portable fireplace. It has a huge window that opens to the magnificent view of the Alps. Around 2 or 3 single beds could fit in the sleeping area. Meanwhile, the top level has a freestanding tub, perfect for those romantic hot baths if you are on your honeymoon. There is also a space for a queen sized bed.
People who have stayed in this tiny rental cannot help but rave about their experience. Aside from its extraordinary interiors, the peace and tranquility surrounding the home is something worth going back to.
