Kevin Garnett, the power forward of Brooklyn Nets, has reportedly sold his Concorde, Mass., home for $3.63 million, taking a loss on the sale.
Garnett first listed the home in October 2013 with a $4.8 million price tag, just four months after he shifted to Brooklyn Nets from the Boston Celtics. As he moved away from Boston, the listing didn't come as a surprise. He and his wife, Brandi had purchased the place in 2006 for $4.7 million. Although they were looking for a slight profit on the sale initially, they gave it a price chop listing it for $4.2 million in November 2013.
Records show the home sold June 16, 2014 and Los Angeles Times broke the news of the sale noting that the home was represented by Rosemary McCready of Coldwell Banker Residential.
According to the listing records, the single-family home is a large 11,000-square-feet residence sitting on a prime, waterfront 12.7-acre land. Comprising of five bedrooms and five full and one half bathrooms - the home has large, airy rooms with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and lovely, light hardwood flooring.
Outside, the home has a large garden area, a 4-car garage and fenced yard.
The listing described the place as:
"A stunning modern masterpiece overlooking a serene pond on lush secluded acreage. Rare property combining location, luxury and world class architecture. The glamour and style of California in a gorgeous New England setting."
