The final version of "Fallout 4" first patch is now PC ready, PlayStation 4 launch is expected to happen later this week. Earlier this month the beta form of the patch was released through Steam.
Here is a summary of the fixes and notes the "Fallout 4" comes with.
Bug fixes included the fix for players getting stuck at terminals, one issue associated with the "When Freedom Calls" quest, and the crash issues that happens when jumping in water, probably associated to the bug one player found out where they fell in sea and discovered a mysterious structure. This underwater discovery happened to a player who was clearing out a raider camp and fell into the sea. This player decided to explore the sea instead of running for the shore, probably because this person was equipped with the Mirelurk Cakes and Power Suit that allows for underwater breathing. Initially, the reward was just to look at the underwater flora that did not get ravaged by nuclear apocalypse. However, soon enough a mysterious underwater structure appeared. This structure is a large bronze building that looks something like a water filtration device with a working light but does not allow entrance. This amusing discovery led to various rumors about "Fallout 4," but no further news about it have been made.
Back to the "Fallout 4" improvements, it was also said that there will be stability and memory improvements too. PC specific tweaks are also present and it comes with new features including the remapping of the number pad keys. Furthermore, there are also Corvega Assembly Plant performance improvements as well as optimizations to skinned decal rendering. The issue about equipped weapons being locked after finishing Reunions is also fixed alongside the issue during "Confidence Man" where the player's health regenerates continuously. The issue where Launcher fails to save God Rays Quality setting properly has also been fixed.
So far these are the complete 1.2 patch notes for "Fallout 4", details on the console release will be shared once they are made available.
