In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, Soriano expressed his frustration:
"I'm just getting anxious. I just want to hit it, but sometimes I just want to hit it, and I'm not even trying to see that ball. So it's better for me to calm down, and see the ball and hit it."
"(I feel) more pressure because the team is struggling bad. It's not good to think that way. It makes it worse. But you cannot control your mind. Sometimes your mind controls your body, but you cannot control your mind. Sometimes I have to calm down and just be more relaxed in that situation," he added.
