The CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2016 is set to be held early January. Being just a month away from now, participating tech giants already started rolling out invites for their respective events. It has been many weeks since Sony started sending out invites, now, Samsung is started doing the same thing.
Samsung's event will happen on the 5th of January at 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, however, there are no reliable words saying what the tech giant has in store for us during that 45 minute show off. time. But if we consider the rumors that roam around the web, Samsung could announce their latest flagship phones, the successors of the "Samsung Galaxy S6" and "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge". Expected to be the "Samsung Galaxy S7" and "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge", these phones may be the star of Samsungs CES 2016 event. However, given that the "Samsung Galaxy S6" and "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge" were released just March of 2015, it's still not certain if the successors are already coming in as early as January of 2016. Samsung usually maintain a one year gap between their flagships. But who knows, tech competitors are always on the look out for a good surprise.
Other possible Samsung star for the 2016 CES is the "Samsung Galaxy A9" which had an expected release of end of November or early December. Apparently, the said phone did not make an appearance on the expected time, so it is also possible that the company is waiting for an event as big as the CES to finally have the "Samsung Galaxy A9" released.
Still, the best thing to do right now is to wait for January or wait for official announcements from the companies. But if there is one thing that is certain, it is that these giant companies are preparing a big show to impress us. They may feature previously introduced devices, and they can also feature new ones, but the latter is more preferable.
