'Final Fantasy VII' Cheats: Better Experience on PS4 [VIDEO]

"Final Fantasy VII" is best played on Sony PS4, a gamer for Kotaku explained. Apparently, there are three particular cheats available on the PS4 that make the best-selling RPG game more enjoyable to play.

Specifically, these cheats can significantly speed up the game and turn off all random encounters, so players can freely go from dungeon to dungeon at will. These are done by simply pressing a few buttons on the control pad.

"Sick of that sprawling Knights of the Round animation? Want to get through the Midgar slums without having to fight any of those dumb houses? Don't have 40-50 extra hours but want to replay FFVII anyway? This is the version for you," Kotaku's Jason Schreier teased.

Here's how to do it:

Press L3 to speed up everything by three.

Pressing L3 + R3 will turn off all random encounters.

And pressing R3 will heal everyone and give them unlimited limit breaks.

"Final Fantasy 7" is available for download on PS4 for $16, but it is currently on sale for $10 until Dec. 13. It is also available on iOS for the iPhone and iPad.

Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy VII" has been getting major hype in the gaming community lately, with its announcement of a high definition remake coming soon. According to Polygon, the remake is still under development but its developers have confirmed that it will be done in multiple parts rather than a single entry.

"It's going to be multi-part because when we considered fully remaking Final Fantasy 7 in PS4 quality, and as we look over much of it, we estimated the volume to be beyond what could be fit in one entry," creator Nomura explained.

The game's graphics is also promised to look more realistic, and the developers intend to introduce an original structure for its battle system that adds a strategic element to the game.

More details about the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" are expected in the coming days.
