Rumors about iPhone 7 keep swirling crazily soon after the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus just got released.
Part of those rumors suggest that the next iPhone will be doing away with that one thing that all phones are known to have as an essential for the longest time. According to GforGames, Apple is rumored to be toying with the idea of wireless charging for iPhone 7. This means that if such idea materializes on the next apple flagship the iPhone maybe charged anywhere within range without annoying wires or cords.
Aside from that, the GforGames report suggests that Apple is reviewing at least five different iPhone 7 prototypes and each have different features that can include USB Type-C connector compatible with headsets, multi-Force Touch, dual camera configurations and fingerprint scanning among others. Apple could also be looking in to the possibility of using AMOLED display technology, which is a low-cost display technology.
The idea of wireless charging may not be too farfetched for the iPhone 7 as competitor Samsung has shown this technology is possible. As Apple has been reported to be aiming for a thinner iPhone 7, wireless charging would be a good option since a thing phone would have to do away with a charging port.
Concurrently, according to AppleInsider, the idea of making the next iPhone is has never left the minds of developers at Apple. The company is looking into making the iPhone 7 about 6 to 6.5-mm thick. And speaking of a wireless phone, with the absence of ports for accessories, the next iPhone might also have support wireless headphones unless they come up with a small port for headphone jacks that will work with a super thin iPhone body.
Best of all, the iPhone 7 is rumored to be waterproof and will possess a mechanism that will prevent it from getting shattered upon impact after a nasty fall.
Having said all these rumors, it is understandable if fans become impatient as they wait for the next iPhone. And if these rumors would turn out to be untrue, many Apple followers would be very disappointed.
