Randy Jackson, the famous music producer who was a judge on "American Idol", has reportedly listed his home in Tarzana, Calif., for $2.19 million.
This is not Jackson's first attempt at selling the home.
Property records show that it first came on the market for $2.8 million. The price was reduced to $2.39 million in 2009 and upped again to $2.64 million the same year. Shortly thereafter the property was de-listed and has now surfaced again for a lesser asking price.
The listing of the home lies with Sotheby's International Realty and is being represented by Ken Margolis.
Jackson reportedly purchased the home in 2005 for #2.7 million and is headed for a loss on the sale.
The residence is a 5,878-square-feet single-family house, comprising of five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The double-storey Spanish residence was built in 1990 and has been renovated after that.
The home is being offered fully-furnished. Interiors feature travertine floors and exposed beam ceilings along with French doors and windows.
Living space includes a formal drawing room, a separate dining area, a family room with a wet bar and an updated kitchen with a butler's pantry. All the bedrooms in the house have en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets. The master bedroom has separate "his and hers" bathrooms with direct access to a luxury spa.
Outside, the home has a detached guest house, a pool with a cabana, an outdoor BBQ and five-car parking garage.
The listing description reads:
"Beautiful Gated Custom Estate, attention to detail personified. One of the finest built residences in the highly desirable El Caballero area of the Classic Edgard Rice Burrough's area of Tarzana."
With a reduced price tag, Jackson might turn lucky this time. Check out some photos here.
Jackson turned 58 June 23, this year. The talented musician joined the panel of judges at American Idol in 2002 but was replaced by Jimmy Iovine in 2013. However, rumors have it that Jackson is set to return to this year's panel again. Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul will also be brought back and Ryan Seacrest will also reprise his role as host of the singing reality show, reports Unrealitytv.co.uk.
