Mickey Mouse Club's' Marque 'Tate' Lynch Passes Away at 34; Death Found Suspicious

Mickey Mouse Club (MMC) star Marque 'Tate' Lynche was found dead last December 6 in his New York apartment. No cause of death has been determined as of yet but the New York City Police Department's medical examiner suspects foul play.

According to NYPD Detective Martin Speechley, Lynche's roommate found the body of the 34-year-old. He did not disclose other details of the case.

Lynche appeared on MMC for two years, specifically from 1993 to 1995. During those years, the show featured present-day A-listers like Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

Lynche was also known for being an American Idol hopeful on the show's 3rd season. He was, however, eliminated before the selection of 12 finalists.

Following his death, MMC made a statement on their Facebook community page Always in the Club. The post was addressed to the former Mouseketeer whose picture was prominently displayed in a banner.

The sentimental statement read, "We are all heartbroken. None of us is a stranger to loss and heartache, but as the first of our siblings to leave this life, this is new territory for us all. It is so hard to believe that one of our brothers is no longer with us. There's so much that each of us wants to say to you, and in each their own time & own way, will. But the words that do ring true from us all are... We love you dearly, we will miss you forever, and you will live on... Always In Our Hearts."

After his time on MMC, Lynche continued to pursue his career in entertainment. In an unconfirmed biography for the Catalyst Entertainment Group, the former Mouseketeer appeared in the Broadway musical The Lion King as Simba.

Lynche is said to have left the entertainment industry when his mother passed away.
