Celebrity Real Estate: The Long Island Home of Pro Wrestler Mick Foley is Ready for the Holidays and is Dedicated to Santa Claus

The 4,100-square-foot contemporary home of pro wrestler, Mick Foley, in Long Island is dedicated to his colorful persona: Santa Claus.

The lower level of the home is decorated with a Christmas tree surrounded with wrapped Christmas gifts. The house features a wall of family portraits that show Mr. Foley in full Santa garb with his wife, Colette, and their four children.

"Wearing the red suit is a lot like being in the ring," Mr. Foley says.

Today, the 50-year-old three-time world heavyweight champion is sporting a green button-down shirt in smiling Santa.

The house has a room that features a display of several Christmas-themed outfits, including a candy-cane striped shirt and matching red vest.

A statement of Mick as quoted by the Realtor news, "Seventeen years later and I'm still feeling it," Mr. Foley says as he points to the two teeth he lost during the bout. During his career, he suffered several concussions, broken bones, and lost part of his right ear and walks with a limp.

According to public records, Mr. Foley and his wife purchased the 1.2-acre property in Smithtown, a village in Suffolk County, near the end of his career, for $1.1 million in 2011.

Mr. Foley wrote a number of memoirs as well as children's books and novels. He has also appeared in television shows and commercials. Currently, he is performing in a one-man comedy show about his life and out of the ring.

"So many of the guys ended up with bad habits or just blew their money," says fellow retired wrestler Steven Anderson. "But Mick was so damn cheap," he joked, saying that Mr. Foley stayed thrifty even if he's still a TV mainstay.

With his one-man show and other commitments, Mr. Foley still spends about a third of the year vacationing. According to Fox News, Mick dyes his beard white in preparation for a number of events, where he'll suit up to greet children as Santa.

"It's holiday magic," he says. "They don't know I'm a wrestler. I'm just Santa."
